On February 19th through 22nd 2023, a delegation of six researchers from the 2000HIV project attended the CROI conference in Seattle, WA. During the conference, these researchers had the opportunity to present their groundbreaking discoveries to the international community through posters and oral presentations. Their findings encompassed a wide range of topics, from basic science aimed at understanding HIV control to clinical measurements related to the understanding of non-AIDS comorbidities. Additionally, their worked also added into the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on people living with HIV (PLHIV).
The conference served as a unique platform for our team to showcase their work within the 2000HIV study and engage in knowledge exchange with renowned scientists from around the world. Exposure to diverse research perspectives and approaches inspired our team members, reinforcing their belief in the possibility of achieving a future where HIV infections are better controlled or prevented.
